Frozen vegetables, poured from the bag into a bowl, landed like this. I thought it looked kind of neat, pea stuck to corn stuck to carrot.
Joining the ILS
A passenger plane swings around to line up with the ILS landing beacon for runway 23 at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.
Angles
A very different-looking McDonald’s, in Mississauga, Ontario. I really like the angles this building projects. Shot a few weeks ago on a cold, rain-snow day.
Switchback
They’re stairs. I don’t know what else to say.
Pitcher on the Beach
When you said you wanted a pitcher on the beach, I thought you meant margaritas! This isn’t what I had in mind.
Speaking of beaches, I’m off to Florida for a week.
No Preservatives
Seen at the bottom of the creek that runs past my place in Richmond Hill.
Rust Spots
8A076A
A piece of CN railway equipment. If you know what this is or does, let me know; I was afraid to touch it.
Geese and White Sky
The iconic Canada Goose has returned to the area in numbers, a sure sign that Spring has sprung. The goose on the left has become the icon for my new website, though I have yet to figure out what I’m going to put there.
James
I couldn’t decide if this image looks better in colour or black and white. I’ve posted the colour one because ultimately the cracked leather of the chair seemed more real to me in colour, though I was drawn to the contrast of it in the black and white version.
