This is my first attempt at high-speed, stop-motion photography, which as it turns out is much, much harder than I thought! Timing is everything, and my sense of timing is awful. Also, it’s very difficult to get the focus right. These are just a few of the things I need to work on next time I try this.
Category: Everything Else
One Red One
Apparently attaching locks high on the chainlink fence surrounding a baseball diamond is what passes for schoolyard fun in Newmarket, Ontario. There were more than a dozen additional locks affixed nearby.
Wellies
Two pairs of rain boots nicely aligned by the front door of a house in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
Backboard and Rim
A basketball hoop in a park in Newmarket, Ontario.
Bristles
A macro of my shaving brush. (Some days it’s tough to find something to shoot!)
Gears
I won’t tell you what this is, but if you’d like to guess then please leave a comment!
Nails
A box of 1 1/4′ bright spiral finishing nails.
Sandals Over Railway
I found these sandals sitting on the railing of the bridge that spans the railway below. (You can tell I didn’t put them there because of the dry spot surrounding them.) Slightly disturbing, I think.
This railway runs past the field in yesterday’s post.
Bright Idea
A 40-watt lightbulb. (What else did you expect the description to say?)
Gnashers
A macro view of a clay impression of my teeth, made by my dentist.
