Perseids, Aurora and the Milky Way
So much going on in this single photo! On the left, you can see faint Aurora Borealis light pillars that these were invisible to the naked eye. The blueish ‘cloud’ in the middle is our Milky Way Galaxy. The streak of light on the right is a Perseids meteor. Taken August 12, 2015, at 11:35pm at Willow Beach, on the southern shore of Lake Simcoe.
